Our weekend Islamic school provides comprehensive Islamic education for children and youth.
The Islamic Center of East Bay offers weekend Islamic school for children ages 5-18. Our curriculum includes Quran reading and memorization, Islamic studies, Arabic language, and character development based on Islamic principles.
Registration for weekend school is available at the masjid. Forms are available on the Masjid lobby table or can be downloaded here.

Our Maktab program focuses on Quran memorization and Islamic education for children.
The Maktab program at ICEB is designed to provide children with a strong foundation in Quranic studies. Students learn proper Quran recitation (tajweed), memorization, and basic Islamic principles in a structured environment.
Registration for the Maktab program is available at the masjid. Space is limited, so early registration is recommended.

Our youth programs aim to nurture the next generation of Muslims with strong Islamic identity and values.
Annual Quran memorization and recitation competition for youth of all ages.
Regular sports activities including soccer, basketball, and other team sports.
Seasonal camps focusing on Islamic knowledge, outdoor activities, and brotherhood/sisterhood.
Weekly discussion circles addressing issues relevant to Muslim youth in America.
Volunteer opportunities to serve the broader community and develop leadership skills.
Guidance and mentorship for high school students preparing for college.

Our adult education programs are designed to provide continuing Islamic education for adults of all backgrounds and knowledge levels. Programs include Quran study, hadith, fiqh, and contemporary Islamic issues.
All adult education programs are open to the community. No registration required unless specified for special workshops.
Throughout the year, we organize various community events to strengthen brotherhood and sisterhood.
The Islamic Center of East Bay organizes various community events throughout the year to bring Muslims together and strengthen our community bonds. These events include Eid celebrations, community iftars during Ramadan, family picnics, and more.
